The Docks are steeped in over 200 years of history with 15 Victorian warehouses serving the most inland port in Britain. Today it is a vibrant centre of museums, shops and restaurants A short walk takes you into the city centre for a bustling shopping centre and the spectacular Cathedral.

At the end of a busy day Gloucester has an diverse array of entertainment on hand - you can dance the night away or just go for a drink with friends in a fun and lively environment, there are pubs and clubs to suit most tastes in style and music.

If you prefer a more action-packed evening there are two multi-lane bowling alleys and a go-karting track. Gloucester has a superb multi-screen complex if you want to take in a film or a lovingly restored Victorian theatre which attracts acts and performers both from home and abroad.

The Guildhall is Gloucestershire's most exciting arts and entertainment destination, hosting live concerts, comedy, theatre and dance.
