Nature in Art is unique – it is the world’s only museum dedicated to all kinds of art inspired by nature. At Nature in Art you will find a truly diverse range of world-class art: displays embrace two and three-dimensional work in all mediums and styles ranging from Picasso to Shepherd; spanning 1500 years, the collection contains work by 600 artists from over 50 countries. So typically, in addition to a temporary exhibition, you will see watercolour landscapes, contemporary glass, the Flemish masters, modern abstract interpretations, bronze sculpture and even some exotic oriental treasures. With all this variety you are sure to find something appealing that will linger in your memory. You are likely to make some discoveries too!

Meet an artist at work!Artists from across the world work at the museum during all opening hours between February and November. You may encounter painting, woodcarving, ceramic sculpting, printing, glass-working, textile art, mixed-media work or even another art form. Feel free to talk with the artist whilst they demonstrate their skills.
Explore Nature in ArtWith sculptures you can touch, various activities like brass-rubbing and an outdoor play area, we make sure that children aren’t left out. There’s also a tranquil sculpture garden to explore and, overlooking the garden, you’ll find a coffee shop where you can enjoy light meals and home-made cakes. We also provide free parking and a friendly welcome in our gift shop!
The museum offers a variety of short art courses and other events throughout the year, as well as children’s activity sessions during the summer holidays. Please ask for further details.

Opening times:Nature in Art is open from 10am to 5pm from Tuesday to Sunday and including Bank Holiday Mondays. Situated two miles north of Gloucester on the A38 at Twigworth.
